Synopsis
A River of Petitions is an unconventional theatre production that engages the social and gender gap within the progressive constitution of South Africa. Flowing among us is a river that carries the petitions of the voiceless with sighs, anguish, screams, prayers and sometimes bolts of thanksgiving. It is a multidisciplinary piece that speaks on behalf of the spirits of the women left in the dresses they wore in a home they once lived in.
